My total failure of an Ice Cream Sandwich Cake

This was such a failure, I didn’t plan on posting about it. But then I thought, this is a blog of my baking adventures, not every attempt is going to be a success. This was one of those times.

I came across this gif while browsing 9Gag, and watched it in awe about 10 times straight. Could anything be more simple, yet effective, than a bunch of sandwich ice cream bars stacked on top of each other? Paleo Shepherds Pie

Seeing as in two weeks I’ll be squeezing myself into a bikini and lounging on a beach, I thought I should have a break from the sugars and cakes, and attempt some healthier recipes.

I love Shepherd’s Pie but obviously its not the most diet friendly meal, so I made a paleo version, replacing the potato mash topping with cauliflower, and trust me it tastes just as good! Continue reading

I just find the concept of Mother’s Day extremely commercial and superficial. I was in a skincare shop the other day, which specialises in products for problem / acne skin, and they had a big display urging you to ‘Treat your mum this Mothers Day’ – with a basket of skincare products.
