About me

Hey, I’m Jessica and after being a lurker on baking blogs for a few years, I’ve finally caved in and started my own.

I have two dogs and a cat, all of whom I love very much! Poppy is the name of one of my dogs and who my blog is named after.

I’m the first to admit I’m not the best baker, and definitely not the best photographer or writer, but hopefully I’ll improve in all three as I go along!

If you have any advice for a newbie, any suggestions as to what to bake, or anything about me you would like to know,  I’m more than happy to hear!

I’m from London, 24 years old (although I look a lot younger!), recently graduated from university and at the stage where I have no idea what I want to do with my life (along with millions of other people my age!)
